Precision movement. More life.

Movement therapy built around exactly what your body needs.

Most people come to me after they’ve tried things: PT, yoga, massage, stretching. Something helps for a while, but nothing really sticks.

That’s usually not a knowledge problem. Your body is brilliant at adapting; sometimes too brilliant. The compensation strategies that worked before stopped serving you. And now your brain and body signals are getting crossed.

That’s why we look at all the ways you use your body each day, at work and at play. I meet you at the intersection of movement, awareness and nervous system regulation to help you build something that actually lasts.

This work is for you if:

Something shifted. An injury, pain episode, burnout, or a quiet accumulation of “this just isn’t working.” You’re at an inflection point, even if you can’t name it yet.

You're ready to relate to your body differently and trade “more” for “better”.

You have a specific concern. It doesn’t need a diagnosis. “I don’t even know how to soften my shoulders any more” or “my spine just doesn’t always feel like a healthy spine” is enough.

You’re self-directed. You’ll do the between-session work and come back with real observations. (Don’t worry - I’ll prompt you with more than “listen to your body!”)

You’d experience “I finally know when to pause” as one of the most important things you’ve ever learned.

I work with clients through a structured, personalized process built around your specific concern, your body and where you want to go, not a generic template.

Sessions, home practice and ongoing support work together to create change that actually lasts.

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, the best place to start is a Strategy Session to find your fit.

How I work:

I primarily work with clients virtually, which means that wherever you are, we can work together. Virtual delivery also means that you’re practicing in your own space, with your own body, in the environment where you actually live. That’s not unintentional. For this kind of work, it’s often an advantage.

Where I work:

I’m Courtney Lawson, a movement specialist with a Master of Public Health, a background in project management, and advanced training as a Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist.

It’s an unusual combination, and it means I bring a scientific lens, a systems brain and whole-body clinical training to every client I work with. (In other words, I’m the person who reads movement research for fun. The human body genuinely fascinates me, and that curiosity shows up in how I work with every client.)

I built this practice because I was always looking for someone who could put the pieces together. I didn’t find it, so I became that person.
